Transaction Services FIG – Senior

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential advisory firm in Paris that is seeking a Transaction Services Senior with expertise in financial institutions. This role focuses on due diligence and transaction advisory work within the banking, insurance, and financial services sector.

Our client operates across multiple European markets and maintains a strong position in financial advisory services. You will work on high-stakes transactions including vendor due diligence, vendor assistance, and acquisition due diligence projects specifically for financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute vendor due diligence engagements for financial institutions including banks, insurance companies, and other regulated entities
• Lead vendor assistance projects supporting sellers through the transaction process
• Conduct acquisition due diligence for clients acquiring financial services businesses
• Analyze financial statements, business models, and regulatory frameworks specific to financial institutions
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders including investors, banks, and senior management
• Contribute to business development activities and proposal preparation
• Mentor and train junior team members on technical and sector-specific knowledge
• Participate in firm initiatives and internal projects

What We're Looking For

• Degree from a top business school, engineering school, or university master's program
• Minimum 3 years of experience in audit within the banking and insurance sector, or in transaction services
• Strong understanding of financial institution business models, accounting standards, and regulatory environments
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial information and identify key transaction issues
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); French required for this Paris-based role
• Additional language skills are a strong advantage
• Motivated by challenging work and continuous professional development
