About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential EdTech organization in their search for a Senior Product Designer to join their growing team. Our client develops accessible technology solutions for educational and workplace environments, with a strong focus on inclusive design and assistive technology.

This remote role offers the opportunity to shape product experiences across interconnected platforms serving educators, administrators, and students. You'll work on complex workflows and multi-product ecosystems, balancing consistency with individual product needs while maintaining high design quality and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead end-to-end design work from discovery through delivery, collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Research, Content, and Marketing teams
• Design across interconnected products and user journeys to create scalable, coherent experiences
• Contribute design expertise to product strategy, helping frame problems and identify opportunities
• Translate user insights, analytics, and business objectives into intuitive, accessible design solutions
• Partner with Engineering to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and effectively implemented
• Contribute to and evolve the organization's design system, supporting consistency and accessibility across products
• Explore and apply AI where it creates meaningful value, considering usability, accessibility, trust, and transparency
• Create and present design concepts with clear rationale linked to user, product, and business objectives
• Advocate for inclusive design and ensure work meets or exceeds WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards
• Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and co-creation sessions with peers and stakeholders
• Share knowledge and contribute to design practice across the UX and Product organization

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Significant product design experience, including 3+ years operating at Senior Product Designer level
• Strong portfolio demonstrating how design decisions contributed to measurable outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity, frame complex problems, and influence product direction
• Experience applying inclusive and universal design principles and designing to WCAG 2.2 standards
• Experience designing across interconnected products, complex workflows, or end-to-end user journeys
• Hands-on experience contributing to and evolving design systems
• Strong prototyping and interaction design skills
• Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced design workflows and human-AI interaction patterns
• Strong ability to communicate and influence design decisions across stakeholders
• Experience collaborating with Product Management and Engineering teams
• Understanding of Agile, Lean UX, continuous discovery, and iterative delivery approaches

Desirable qualifications:

• Experience designing across Web, iOS, and Android in complex SaaS environments
• Experience designing products for education, accessibility, or assistive technology
• Experience designing or shipping AI-enabled product experiences
• Experience using AI-assisted prototyping or design-to-development workflows
• Experience working with product analytics and experimentation
• Familiarity with designing for enterprise, education, or multi-user environments with complex permissions and workflows
