Senior Implementation Specialist Digital Analytics (w/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading data analytics consultancy based in Munich that brings together strategy, analytics, and technology to deliver end-to-end digital analytics solutions. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Implementation Specialist to join their growing practice and take ownership of technical tracking implementations for enterprise clients.

In this role, you'll translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, implement tracking across diverse technology stacks, and serve as the trusted technical advisor throughout the entire implementation lifecycle—from initial requirements gathering through go-live and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements and translate business and analytics use cases into technically sound tracking and implementation concepts
• Develop and document tracking concepts, data models, and data layer requirements in collaboration with clients and development teams
• Implement tracking solutions using tag management systems and ensure scalable, high-quality data collection
• Conduct technical testing, debugging, and systematic data validation to maintain data quality standards
• Integrate consent management and data protection requirements into all implementation phases
• Act as the technical interface between business stakeholders, digital analysts, data engineers, and project managers
• Share expertise within the team and contribute to developing standards, best practices, and ways of working
• Support tool selection, architecture decisions, migrations, and technical enablement initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For

• Several years of professional experience in digital analytics, web analytics, tracking, or MarTech implementation
• Strong working knowledge of at least one tag management system
• Proven experience designing and implementing data layers and tracking concepts
• Solid understanding of both client-side and server-side tracking, including their technical requirements and capabilities
• Strong technical foundation in web technologies, particularly JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with testing and data validation of analytics implementations
• Understanding of consent management, data protection regulations, and their technical implications for tracking
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels
• Structured, analytical, and quality-oriented work approach
• Genuine interest in taking ownership and implementing solutions, not just analyzing challenges
