(Senior) Business Development & Strategy Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential EdTech organization in the DACH region seeking a (Senior) Business Development & Strategy Manager to join their executive team in Augsburg. This is a full-time, permanent position with immediate availability.

Our client operates one of the region's leading digital learning platforms and is entering their next growth phase. You'll work directly alongside C-level leadership to shape strategic initiatives and drive measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support executive leadership in strategic development and prepare structured decision-making materials for key business choices
• Analyze markets, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities, translating findings into actionable recommendations
• Own strategic projects and initiatives end-to-end—from conception through implementation—leveraging automation and internal synergies
• Drive central growth themes in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Support C-level in day-to-day operations, ensuring strategic ideas translate into clear actions, accountabilities, and results

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed university degree with approximately 4 years of relevant experience in Strategy, Business Operations, Venture Development, Business Development, or comparable roles
• Proven track record in corporate strategy, growth strategy, or go-to-market strategy with ability to structure complex topics quickly
• Strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and structured, independent working style
• Clear and reliable communication skills with high affinity for digital products and technologies
• Fluent German and English required
• Experience in startup, scale-up, SaaS, or strategy/management consulting environments is a plus but not mandatory
• Appreciation for in-person collaboration with regular presence at the Augsburg office; willingness to travel for selected events and meetings
