Werkstudent*in Information Security Awareness & Automation

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software consultancy in München seeking a working student to support information security awareness and automation initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in translating complex security and business continuity concepts into accessible formats while building intelligent automation workflows.

Our talent team is looking for someone who can bridge communication and technology—creating awareness materials that employees actually read and automating the processes behind them. You'll work with a small, experienced team on clearly defined projects with real ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop security awareness and training formats including microlearnings, intranet content, and onboarding materials that engage employees
• Create Business Continuity Management (BCM) materials such as role cards, emergency response guides, and crisis communication templates designed for rapid comprehension
• Support planning, execution, and evaluation of awareness campaigns and BCM exercises, analyzing what works and refining future approaches
• Build automation workflows to generate multiple content formats from single sources, maintain German and English versions, and update materials when policies or emergency plans change
• Implement automated content delivery and maintenance across intranet, Confluence, and onboarding packages using Jira, Confluence, and AI-assisted tools
• Research current threat topics relevant to organizational security
• Maintain compliance documentation for ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and TISAX certifications including training records, exercise protocols, and lessons learned
• Support internal and external audits by compiling evidence, documenting findings, and tracking remediation actions

Note: This role focuses on organizational, communication, and automation aspects of information security and business continuity. Technical system administration is handled by separate IT colleagues.

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as IT Security Management, Computer Science, Media Informatics, Security Management, Corporate Security Management, Risk & Security Management, Corporate Governance, Risk & Compliance, or comparable field with IT focus
• Enthusiasm for automation through scripts, workflows, and intelligent prompting
• Interest in information security and business continuity with emphasis on organizational questions (prior knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 22301, or TISAX not required)
• Self-motivated with structured, reliable working style
• Excellent German and good English language skills
• Availability for 16–20 hours per week during semester, with flexibility to increase hours during semester breaks
