Product Owner

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential agritech organization seeking a Product Owner to join their team in Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of products developed by agile teams, serving as the key bridge between business strategy and development.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Defining product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment between business objectives and market needs
• Managing and prioritizing the product backlog, translating business requirements into clear, concise user stories
• Collaborating directly with development teams and stakeholders to ensure continuous value delivery
• Acting as the voice of the customer, communicating product vision and objectives for each Sprint
• Conducting interviews, research, and usability testing to deeply understand user pain points and needs
• Validating deliverables at the end of each cycle, ensuring acceptance criteria and quality standards are met
• Serving as the primary point of contact for all product-related matters across executive leadership, marketing, sales, support, and other business areas
• Prioritizing initiatives and features based on data, business impact, and user feedback, analyzing both quantitative and qualitative information to guide product evolution

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, or related fields
• Proven professional experience as a Product Owner or in similar roles (Business Analyst, Product Manager)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, prioritization, and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with roadmap tools such as Jira, Canva, Miro, Aha!, or Productboard
• Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel
• Strong business acumen and quick comprehension abilities

Preferred qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree or MBA in Product Management, Business, or Marketing
• Previous experience in the agritech sector or technology focused on agriculture

Work arrangement: Remote (Home Office) in Brazil, CLT contract. Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
