Telehealth Registered Dietitian

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential telehealth organization seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to provide virtual outpatient nutrition counseling. This PRN (as-needed) role requires a minimum of 12 hours of weekly availability, with the opportunity to increase hours based on your preferences and patient demand.

This position is based in Panama and offers the autonomy of private practice without the administrative burden—no marketing, billing complications, or scheduling headaches. You'll focus entirely on delivering personalized, evidence-based nutrition care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide telehealth medical nutrition therapy using functional and integrative nutrition approaches
• Assess patient nutritional health and develop personalized, root-cause care plans
• Create and modify individualized nutrition interventions based on patient needs and goals
• Document all appointments with strong attention to detail in the designated platform
• Respond to patient communications in a timely, professional, and supportive manner
• Collaborate with team members through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning opportunities
• Manage a consistent patient caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups and continuity of care
• Maintain minimum 12 hours of weekly availability with opportunity to grow into higher-hour schedule
• Stay current with emerging research and best practices in nutrition and health
• Adhere to all clinical standards and company policies

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Current registration with CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical nutrition care
• Pennsylvania license (or eligibility for licensure); credentialing support provided
• Credentialed or open to credentialing with insurance companies
• Passionate about integrative and functional nutrition approaches
• Minimum 12 hours of weekly availability
• Cannot maintain active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business during employment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Availability for evening appointments to meet patient demand
• CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) certification
• IFNA certification (IFNCP credential) or active enrollment in IFNA training
