Workday Solutions Developer

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking a Workday Solutions Developer for a fully remote role in the United States. This position offers the chance to work across Workday configuration, reporting, business process design, and application extension development, supporting HR, finance, and IT stakeholders in maximizing platform value.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Workday technical components across HCM and Finance modules
• Design and build advanced and composite reports using Workday report writer
• Create and manage calculated fields to support complex business logic
• Configure business processes and condition rules to automate workflows
• Support integration efforts and troubleshoot technical issues
• Develop lightweight application extensions to enhance platform functionality
• Maintain security framework configurations and tenant management processes
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Support Workday release cycles and tenant updates

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 6+ years of Workday technical experience
• Deep expertise in Workday report writer, including advanced and composite reports
• Strong proficiency with calculated fields across HCM and Finance
• Hands-on experience configuring business processes and condition rules
• Strong understanding of Workday security framework
• Experience with PRISM Analytics or Workday Extend
• Familiarity with Workday tenant management and release processes

Preferred qualifications:

• Workday Pro certifications
• Experience with Workday Extend application development
• Familiarity with PRISM data ingestion and modeling
• Exposure to multi-tenant or multi-region Workday deployments
• Experience supporting Workday Payroll or Workday Financials
