About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential legal organization seeking an Environmental Law Expert for a fully remote contract engagement. This specialized role involves evaluating AI-generated legal work product in environmental law contexts, with a focus on NEPA and CERCLA matters. We are looking for a qualified lawyer with substantive environmental practice experience who can provide expert comparative analysis and quality assessment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated legal deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and professional quality
- Review blinded AI work products and provide head-to-head comparisons with detailed rationales
- Write concise, clear explanations for preference decisions using precise legal reasoning
- Conduct NEPA legal sufficiency reviews
- Assess CERCLA contribution claim defenses
- Work independently under strict deadlines with written instructions
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to NDA requirements throughout the engagement
What We're Looking For
- Qualified lawyer with substantive practice experience in environmental law
- Demonstrated ability to assess legal work product holistically for correctness and completeness
- Excellent written English skills with attention to precision and clarity
- Strong capability to work independently with written guidance
- Experience with NEPA and CERCLA matters preferred
- Commitment to maintain strict confidentiality and refrain from using external AI tools on project material
