Healthcare Translators (EN → Chinese | Simplified & Traditional)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the language services industry. They are expanding their network of professional linguists for healthcare-focused translation projects, with particular emphasis on health plan communications that help individuals understand and manage their coverage. Our talent team is prioritizing US-based linguists during the initial stage, though experienced candidates worldwide are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Translate healthcare and medical content from English into Simplified and/or Traditional Chinese
• Ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness in health insurance and health plan communications
• Maintain high quality standards and attention to detail across all deliverables
• Work with computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools to ensure consistency
• Meet fast-turnaround project deadlines when required
• Collaborate with project management teams on workflow coordination

What We're Looking For

• Native proficiency in Simplified Chinese and/or Traditional Chinese
• Proven experience in healthcare, medical, or health insurance translation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Experience working with CAT tools (Phrase experience preferred)
• Familiarity with XTRF is a plus
• Availability for fast-turnaround projects and PST-aligned work hours preferred
• US-based linguists will receive priority consideration initially
