Transaction Services Actuariat – Senior

Responsibilities

We are representing a leading independent advisory firm specializing in financial and operational consulting. Our client is seeking an experienced actuary to join their Transaction Services team in Paris. In this senior role, you will:

• Conduct actuarial due diligence, valuations, and financial assessments primarily within the insurance sector
• Develop and apply advanced actuarial and insurance modeling techniques
• Manage risk analysis and quantification projects
• Produce and review calculations, models, and analyses required for complex transactions
• Prepare and deliver client-facing reports and presentations
• Collaborate closely with banking, insurance, and financial institutions teams on balance sheet engagements
• Mentor and train junior analysts and other senior team members
• Contribute to service offering development and business development initiatives

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• A qualifying degree in actuarial science (dual degree from a business school, engineering school, or university master's is a plus)
• 2 to 4 years of actuarial experience in consulting, insurance organizations, investment funds, or investment banking
• Demonstrated exposure to insurance transactions and valuations
• Specialization in Life/Retirement/Protection actuarial work (excluding employee benefits) or Property & Casualty, or openness to either discipline
• Strong knowledge of the French insurance market and regulatory framework
• Excellent analytical rigor combined with strong communication skills
• A collaborative team spirit and client-focused advisory mindset
• Entrepreneurial drive and interest in building out new service capabilities
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (additional languages are an asset)
• Interest in working on international and cross-border engagements

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive with the Paris market for actuarial professionals at this experience level.
