We are representing a confidential fintech client seeking a Data Analyst to join their team in Brazil. This is a fully remote position working with a fast-growing organization that's transforming how consumers engage with digital commerce. Our client operates at the intersection of payments technology and consumer experience, creating innovative solutions that drive measurable business impact.

As their recruiting partner, Get A Job.ai is managing the complete hiring process for this role. You'll work with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver analytics that inform strategic decisions and improve operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand analytics requirements and translate them into actionable insights
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from enterprise databases
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions that enable data-informed decision-making at scale
• Perform exploratory analyses to identify new business opportunities and measure performance against key metrics
• Develop Python-based analytics workflows to support scalable decision-making processes
• Monitor existing reports and dashboards, proactively addressing issues and conducting root cause analyses
• Visualize analytics results in clear, stakeholder-friendly formats that drive action
• Leverage modern AI tools including LLMs and automation platforms to enhance analytical productivity

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, economics, data science, computer science, or related quantitative field
• Either a Master's degree or 3+ years of professional experience working with data, including complex dataset creation, reporting, profiling, and analytics
• Expert-level SQL skills for data extraction and dataset creation
• Hands-on experience with Python for data processing and analytics
• Proven ability to complete analyses with minimal guidance
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Redash, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
• Strong problem-solving abilities and business judgment
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent in English
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and pivoting quickly to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline
• Experience optimizing operational and financial performance
• Background in payments, financial services, banking, or fintech

• Python
• Redshift, PostgreSQL
• Data build tool (dbt)
• AWS, G Suite
• AI coding assistants (Claude, ChatGPT)

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $2,800 - $6,800 USD gross per month, based on experience and interview performance.
