Sage Intacct Reporting and Custom Documents Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential professional services organization seeking a Sage Intacct Reporting and Custom Documents Specialist to join their growing consulting practice. This remote role offers the opportunity to work on complex ERP implementations and provide technical expertise to clients across multiple industries.

Our client specializes in delivering tailored accounting solutions and requires a specialist who can design, develop, and implement advanced reporting solutions within the Sage Intacct platform. You'll collaborate with project teams, consultants, and clients to transform business requirements into sophisticated reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test advanced reports using Sage Intacct Interactive Custom Report Writer, Interactive Visual Explorer, Custom Reports, and Advanced Financial Reports
• Engage with consulting project teams to understand client business requirements and define best practice reporting solutions
• Provide technical expertise on complex implementation projects, including feasibility assessments and level-of-effort estimates
• Execute report design, document customization development, testing, installation, and documentation according to project scope
• Deliver weekly status reports on development progress to Project Managers and Practice leadership
• Provide remote and on-site support for clients using Sage Intacct accounting software
• Research and resolve user application questions, technical problems, and data file issues
• Test compatibility and functionality of third-party integrations and marketplace partner solutions
• Assist with data import/export processes related to custom reports and documents
• Present findings and recommendations to client management teams
• Support pre-sales activities by identifying requirements and defining engagement scope
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high client satisfaction standards

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of related experience in accounting software implementation or consulting
• Sage Intacct Software Certification and advanced training required
• Certification or training in ICRW, IVE, Financial Reporting, and Custom Documents
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct Accounting Software and Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with SaaS environments and business information systems integration
• Background in assessing client requirements across accounting, inventory, order entry, and project management processes
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret technical instructions and solve complex problems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with all organizational levels
• Demonstrated ability to conduct business process reviews and document client needs
• Service-oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills
• Ability to train users remotely, on-site, and one-on-one effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• SQL experience strongly desired
• Construction industry accounting knowledge
• XML technologies (XSL, XSLT:FO, XQUERY, Velixo)
• Programming skills (Shell Scripting, JavaScript, PHP, SQL)
• HTML knowledge
• Business Intelligence tools experience (Nectari, SEI, PowerBI)
• Project management experience across multi-phase implementations

Work Environment: This position may require travel between 10-50% depending on client needs and project phases.

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $97,000 to $169,800 based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Our client also offers a comprehensive benefits package including annual bonus, medical/dental/vision coverage, disability and life insurance, generous paid time off, retirement plans, and programs supporting work-life balance.
