Senior / Lead Consultant – SAP Transactional Banking

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in Germany that is seeking a Senior or Lead Consultant specializing in transactional and core banking solutions. Our talent team is working with a growing technology company that provides enterprise software platforms to the financial services sector.

In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert, designing and implementing banking solutions for clients across Europe. You will work at the intersection of technology and finance, helping institutions modernize their core systems and achieve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Act as a specialist in transactional banking modules within enterprise financial platforms
• Design and deliver customer-centric banking solutions tailored to client requirements
• Optimize processes to improve operational efficiency and performance for financial institutions
• Ensure seamless implementation and integration of solutions into existing bank infrastructures
• Drive digitalization and process automation initiatives that create measurable client value
• Contribute to both initial implementations and ongoing evolution of banking modules
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex transformation projects

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Finance, Economics, Physics, or Mathematics
• 5+ years of experience leading digital transformation projects in the financial services industry
• Demonstrated ability to integrate transactional or core banking solutions into existing banking infrastructures
• Proven track record of driving efficiency improvements within banking module functionalities
• Experience with both initial implementation and ongoing development of enterprise banking systems
• Strong business acumen combined with solid IT solution design skills
• Business-fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
• English proficiency for working in an international team environment
