About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential client seeking a Snowflake Data Model Developer for a remote contract engagement. Our talent team is looking for an experienced data professional with deep expertise in Snowflake and SQL development to support critical data modeling initiatives.
This is a 12-month contract position based remotely in the United States, ideal for candidates who excel in collaborative, fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent priorities.
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily standup meetings for task assignment and progress updates
- Design and develop data models using Snowflake platform
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and database objects
- Validate data accuracy and integrity with business stakeholders
- Manage multiple concurrent tasks with appropriate prioritization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions
What We're Looking For
Required Experience:
- 5-7 years of overall data development experience
- 5+ years of SQL development experience
- 2-4 years of hands-on Snowflake development experience
- Proven data modeling capabilities in Snowflake environments
Essential Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments with effective prioritization
- Experience validating data requirements and results with business users
- Self-directed work style suitable for remote collaboration
