Operations Intern – Renewable Supply

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clean energy technology company based in Berlin. Our client is building innovative solutions that connect industrial customers with renewable energy supply. They combine energy procurement, advanced management software, and intelligent optimization to help businesses transition to sustainable operations.

We are seeking an Operations Intern to join a small, collaborative onboarding team within the Business Operations department. This is a 3–6 month internship opportunity where you'll play a key role in building processes and structures within a fast-growing technology startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of critical operational processes and ensure smooth operations across core business areas
• Develop approaches to increase efficiency and automate process steps
• Support the onboarding of new customers and ensure an excellent customer experience
• Actively contribute to organizational development and help scale processes as the company grows
• Maintain data quality in CRM and other systems through careful data management
• Execute customer onboardings independently, including portal setup, delivery point registration, and market communication
• Manage timelines and coordinate communication with all stakeholders involved in onboarding
• Identify recurring patterns in common issues and propose improvements to onboarding processes

What We're Looking For

• Current student (Bachelor's or Master's), gap year participant, or recent graduate with strong academic performance
• Previous practical experience in startups, fast-paced environments, or the energy industry is a strong plus
• Analytical thinker who is comfortable analyzing data and communicating data-driven insights
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work in a structured manner, maintain overview, and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Affinity for digital tools such as CRM systems, project management platforms, and workspace collaboration tools
• German language proficiency required for this Berlin-based role
• Ability to commit to a 3–6 month internship period
