Founders Associate Intern (m/w/d) – Startup

We are representing a well-funded early-stage fintech startup in Berlin that is reimagining professional services through AI-driven automation. Our client is building technology-first solutions for a traditional industry, combining strategic advisory with intelligent process automation.

This is a rare opportunity to join at the founding stage and work directly with experienced operators who have built teams at leading institutions. You'll gain hands-on exposure to venture building, M&A processes, and AI implementation in a real business context.

Responsibilities

As a Founders Associate Intern, you will work across multiple operational functions with direct access to the leadership team. Your work will include:

• Supporting deal sourcing and pipeline development for potential acquisition opportunities, including research, screening, and initial outreach
• Contributing to post-acquisition integration activities, including process documentation and coordination across teams
• Identifying manual workflows and helping implement AI-powered automation solutions
• Building and maintaining reporting infrastructure and financial planning tools
• Preparing materials for investor communications and board meetings
• Executing recurring operational processes and closing gaps as the business scales

What We're Looking For

• Strong motivation and ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments
• Practical experience through internships or working student roles, ideally in consulting, investment banking, or technology
• Currently studying at or recently graduated from a well-regarded university or business school
• Analytical mindset with ability to break down complex problems and prioritize effectively
• Comfort with AI tools and ability to implement basic automations independently
• Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration
• Collaborative team player who shares knowledge naturally
• German language proficiency required for client-facing context
• Willingness to work full-time in the Berlin office (5 days per week)
