About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer based in London. Our client operates in the governance and compliance software space, serving enterprise customers worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technical professional who excels at bridging the gap between complex technical solutions and business outcomes.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a technical expert during the sales cycle, architecting integrations, delivering demonstrations, and providing proof-of-concept evaluations that showcase our client's platform capabilities to prospective enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert on systems integrations during major sales opportunities, including preparation and delivery of proposals, RFPs, and custom proof-of-concept evaluations
- Lead technical deep dive discussions to architect integrations and advise customers on best practices
- Support sales teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options
- Coordinate with internal R&D, technical integrations, and partner integration teams to stay current on product capabilities and roadmap direction
- Conduct custom proof-of-concept evaluations demonstrating integration capabilities to meet client objectives
- Drive sales and marketing efforts in the production of high-quality sales proposals and supporting assets
- Maintain all sales cycle activities within the CRM system
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8-12 years of relevant experience, ideally in the technology industry and/or an enterprise cloud-based software company
- Expertise selling, configuring, and delivering software demonstrations
- Proven experience implementing software products or solutions to enterprise companies
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, FreeMarker, HTML, and CSS. PowerShell scripting, ASP.NET, and C# experience a plus
- Experience working with Kubernetes (preferred), Docker, and OpenShift
- Advanced knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, and programming
- Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in R&D, marketing, sales, and engineering
- Strong entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 25%)
- Clear understanding of the privacy and compliance industry, including the regulatory environment
