Research Consultant / Senior Research Consultant in der Qualitative Marktforschung Schwerpunkt Finance, Healthcare & UX (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential market research organization in Hamburg. This role focuses on qualitative research with particular emphasis on finance, healthcare, and user experience studies.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Independently designing and leading qualitative research projects from conception through delivery
• Moderating in-depth interviews, focus groups, UX testing sessions, and other qualitative research formats
• Managing mixed-method projects (qualitative and quantitative) within interdisciplinary teams
• Consulting with clients from initial research questions through to actionable recommendations
• Analyzing, interpreting, and compellingly presenting research findings
• Delivering results presentations in both German and English
• Coordinating with colleagues, freelancers, and specialists based on project requirements
• Applying AI tools and emerging analytical technologies where appropriate

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with a solid understanding of qualitative research methods who can independently manage research projects. You should be analytical, an excellent listener, and skilled at transforming complex insights into clear, compelling narratives.

Essential requirements:

• Strong grasp of qualitative research methodologies and project management
• Genuine interest in finance, healthcare, and UX research domains
• Analytical mindset with excellent listening and synthesis skills
• Fluency in German and English for client presentations and research moderation
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in finance, healthcare, or UX research sectors
• Existing client relationships in relevant industries
• Experience managing freelance teams or external specialists

Our client welcomes candidates at various experience levels, from strong junior researchers through senior consultants. Those with extensive finance sector experience or established client relationships may have opportunities for additional leadership responsibilities.

This is a hybrid position based in Hamburg, with flexibility to work from Berlin as well.
