About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization in their search for a Lead Solutions Architect to join their London team. This is a pioneering role focused on containerized solution deployments, where you'll serve as the primary technical liaison between our client and their enterprise customers.
As the key technical stakeholder, you'll lead the deployment of containerized applications within customer environments, ensuring successful technical delivery and user adoption. You'll translate complex technical requirements, drive integrations with source systems, and remove technical barriers that could impact implementation success.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions to analyze customer architecture, recommend optimal containerized solutions, and facilitate deployment while managing expectations around technical constraints
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise clients, ensuring successful technical delivery and onboarding
- Establish real-time data integrations between customer systems and the platform via APIs and internal tools
- Guide customers on authentication, user/group management, and provisioning best practices to drive platform adoption
- Remove technical obstacles to maximize user adoption, clearly articulating technical risks and necessary tradeoffs
- Collaborate with product development teams to balance dedicated customer solutions with broader platform enhancements
- Lead discussions on deployment architecture, ensuring highly available, secure, and resilient implementations
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of proven experience, with at least 3 years deploying and managing containerized applications on Kubernetes
- Advanced knowledge with at least one specific Kubernetes distribution (Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, RedHat OpenShift, or similar)
- Eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) clearance is required; existing clearance is a strong advantage
- Deep understanding of best practices in deploying, scaling, and maintaining highly available, secure, and resilient containerized applications on Kubernetes
- Proven experience implementing infrastructure as code (IaC, e.g., Terraform); Helm or Kustomize experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with additional tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Ansible is a plus
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred
- Experience with modern technology stack including REST/SOAP API management, data ingestion and streaming (Kafka or similar), SSO, LDAP, IT security, and Agile methodologies
- Background working with Python, SQL, data pipelines, and ETL processes for large data volumes is advantageous
- Knowledge of security and compliance topics for enterprise applications
- Strong project management skills with proven customer-facing experience
- Solution-oriented professional who excels at both deep technical discussions and translating technical concepts for broader audiences
