PreSales Sr. Solutions Architect – French Defense and Intelligence

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential geospatial intelligence organization seeking a PreSales Sr. Solutions Architect to support their French Defense and Intelligence accounts. In this role, you will:

• Build and deliver presentations and product demonstrations highlighting technical capabilities and how the platform fulfills customer business needs
• Create relationships with customers' technical and management staff as a trusted advisor
• Recommend solutions architecture that fits defense and intelligence business challenges
• Assist with responses to tenders, RFIs and RFPs with respect to product and solution information
• Work with sales colleagues to determine account development plans and execute engagement strategies
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Product Management, and Business Development to act as the voice of the customer
• Attain quarterly and annual sales and operational objectives
• Present to key executive Government stakeholders within Western and Northern Europe
• Act as a mentor to team members and lead training to drive their development

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings:

• 6+ years of experience supporting the Defense community within the European region
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance for meeting with regional customers
• Ability to travel internationally up to 50%, primarily around Europe and the United States
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Experience working with GIS and Remote Sensing users within the Defense industry
• Experience in IMINT, ISR, and related fields
• Experience with QGIS, SocetGXP, ArcGIS, GDAL and other common geospatial software packages
• Ability to successfully communicate and coordinate with international customers and sales teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive working style
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Ability to program with Python to process imagery, manipulate vector data, interact with APIs and build data pipelines
• Ability to lead customer engagements and run workshops or training sessions with users

This is a full-time, remote position based in France or the United Kingdom. This role requires frequent international travel and involves export-controlled information requiring appropriate clearances.

Pay

This position includes base salary plus commission. Specific compensation details will be discussed during the screening process with our recruiting team.
