Senior Solution Engineer (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Solution Engineer for their London office. Our client partners closely with enterprise sales teams across EMEA, working with forward-thinking brands and digital agencies to deliver transformative digital experiences.

This role sits at the intersection of sales and technical delivery, requiring someone who can translate complex architectural requirements into compelling demonstrations while building trust with prospects at every level. Travel up to 50% may be required to support customers across the region.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with Account Executives to support EMEA customer acquisition
• Conduct infrastructural and architectural discovery sessions with prospective clients
• Design collaborative solutions that address identified business challenges and technical requirements
• Create customized product demonstrations and lead technical evaluations
• Validate prospect requirements against platform capabilities and identify potential risks
• Communicate customer feedback and market insights to product, marketing, and sales leadership
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handoffs for newly-signed customers

What We're Looking For

• Fluency in English; additional European languages strongly preferred
• 3-5 years as a Sales Engineer, Solution Engineer, or Solution Consultant at a cloud-based PaaS or SaaS company; OR 5-10 years as a developer focused on digital experience delivery using marketing technology platforms
• Strong presentation abilities with the capacity to adapt messaging for both marketing-focused and technical audiences
• Proven expertise with modern web technologies including JavaScript frameworks, static site generators, REST APIs, CDNs, and CI/CD pipelines
• High emotional intelligence to navigate multi-stakeholder meetings with varying levels of engagement
• Natural curiosity about how technology creates business value and drives organizational change
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment across multiple opportunities and teams simultaneously

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Content Management Platforms or MarTech solutions
• Familiarity with solution selling methodologies and value-based selling techniques
• Understanding of MACH architecture principles and composable platforms
