About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology organization that is transforming the fitness industry with digital solutions operating across more than 60 countries. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Golang expertise to join a distributed team building a platform that helps fitness businesses increase retention, save time, and achieve greater success.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Europe.
Responsibilities
- Work within a cross-functional team alongside designers, developers, product managers, and quality engineers to build innovative software solutions
- Write predictable, readable, and maintainable code using Golang
- Improve platform scalability and performance
- Mentor and pair with team members to encourage professional and technical growth
- Apply Agile and Lean methodologies supported by DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to transform concepts into functional business solutions
- Build software components from the ground up with attention to detail and quality
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrable impact on products and teams
- Hands-on production experience with Golang
- Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Solid understanding of Agile development methods and Continuous Delivery environments
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and testing principles
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, decision-making approach
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems
- Genuine desire to help and mentor other engineers
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience designing and building microservices architectures
- Contributions to the professional community through speaking, writing, or online participation
- Track record of coaching and mentoring technologists
