As a Senior Software Engineer on our Core Experiences Team in Berlin, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify's product experience across various platforms. This critical position requires someone who thrives at the intersection of product and infrastructure, excels in strategic thinking, and is passionate about designing clear, reliable APIs and simple systems to enhance user experiences.

Core Duties

Collaborate with Speechify's Product Teams to scope projects and find ways to reduce project scope for faster customer feedback.
Navigate integration/UX tradeoffs relevant to different product teams and deliver solutions via our cross-platform SDK.
Optimize existing functionality, such as faster loading times and more intelligent parsing, by designing efficient abstractions and improving algorithms.
Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
