Position Summary

As Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Puck in Worthing, SD, you will own technical direction for firmware and embedded software projects from concept through production.   • Solid understanding of real-time operating systems, interrupt handling, memory management, and low-level hardware interaction.
  • Experience with common communication buses and protocols (such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, or Ethernet) and associated device drivers.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, collaborate with electrical engineers, and use lab equipment for bring-up and validation.
  • Excellent debugging skills, commitment to clean code, and clear written and verbal communication for technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience is typically expected for this Senior Embedded Software Engineer level.
