About the Role
The mission of Speechify is to ensure that reading never becomes a barrier to learning. With over 50 million users worldwide, our text-to-speech products transform any readable content into audio, enabling faster and more efficient reading experiences. Our team comprises nearly 200 individuals from diverse backgrounds including Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and leading PhD programs like Stanford. As part of the Platform team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend services such as payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech features, and external APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API
- Build and maintain all backend services for Speechify's products
- Ensure high-quality user experiences through strategic product decisions
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering results quickly
