About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SAP technology organization seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer/Architect for product development. In this remote role, you will shape the future of an enterprise data conversion and transformation platform, working at the intersection of product engineering and client delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and extend the service and tool portfolio for an SAP data conversion platform
- Conceptualize, develop, and implement new functionalities for the data transformation suite
- Build and execute integration and unit tests to ensure code quality
- Improve existing features by identifying optimization potential, resolving defects, and implementing product requirements
- Migrate project-specific solutions into reusable product designs and templates
- Continuously monitor product security and performance, taking immediate action when needed
- Ensure long-term product quality through systematic improvements and maintenance
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable training
- Experience and proficiency in SAP ABAP development, ideally complemented by object-oriented programming (ABAP OO or Java)
- Knowledge of SAP data migration, particularly table-based data migration approaches (advantageous)
- Structured working style with analytical, solution-oriented thinking
- Team player with willingness to continuously develop your skills
- Strong communication skills in German and English
