(Senior) SAP ABAP Developer/ Architect – Technical Migration (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital transformation consultancy seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer/Architect specializing in technical migration projects. In this remote role, you will drive critical data migration initiatives for national and international clients, applying your deep ABAP expertise to deliver precise technical solutions across complex SAP environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end data migration and transformation projects from analysis through conception to system realization
• Develop migration concepts based on client requirements and implement them technically in SAP systems
• Implement cutting-edge S/4HANA migration projects using modern technical approaches
• Support validation of data migration results through custom reporting solutions
• Prepare and deliver client workshops and training sessions on data transformation topics
• Implement system customizations and integrate them into existing system landscapes
• Resolve defects and optimize both iterative test migrations and productive operations
• Ensure seamless table-based data migration across complex SAP environments

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable vocational training
• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development; knowledge of object-oriented programming (ABAP OO or Java) highly valued
• Experience with SAP data migration projects, particularly table-based migration approaches (preferred)
• Module knowledge in SAP ERP and/or IS-U is advantageous
• Structured working style with analytical, solution-oriented, and client-focused mindset
• Strong team collaboration skills with commitment to continuous professional development
• Excellent communication abilities with fluent German language skills (written and spoken)
