(Junior) SAP Consultant Data Management & S/4HANA Transformation (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SAP consultancy that is seeking a Junior SAP Consultant specializing in Data Management and S/4HANA Transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with initial SAP experience who wants to accelerate their consulting career by working on real client projects from day one.

Our client supports organizations through SAP landscape transformations, efficient data management, and future-proof system alignment. You'll work alongside experienced consultants with dedicated mentorship as you build your expertise in data management and S/4HANA migration projects.

This is a remote position based in Germany, requiring fluency in German.

Responsibilities

• Support client projects related to SAP S/4HANA transformation, initially alongside senior team members and progressively taking ownership of your own workstreams
• Assist with data cleansing, volume management, and analysis of data inventories to support optimization initiatives
• Participate in system decommissioning activities and data archiving projects
• Learn and implement Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) requirements within SAP systems
• Support customizing tasks in client SAP environments
• Conduct technical analyses of system landscapes and prepare findings for clients and project teams
• Contribute to conception and implementation phases of S/4HANA projects
• Help develop standards, methodologies, and project approaches for data management
• Support automation and AI-driven initiatives within the data management practice
• Assist in preparing and facilitating client workshops and presentations

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
• Initial hands-on experience in the SAP environment (internship, working student, or junior consulting role)
• Exposure to SAP consulting with a desire to develop faster and more visibly than your current trajectory allows
• Familiarity with data management, SAP ILM, or archiving concepts is beneficial but not mandatory
• Solid foundational understanding of SAP system architecture
• Analytical thinking with structured, methodical work approach
• Strong communication skills with comfort engaging clients and team members
• Excellent German language skills required; English proficiency expected
• Eagerness to learn both technical and functional concepts in enterprise SAP environments
