Senior Product Design Manager, Enterprise

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology company seeking a Senior Product Design Manager to lead their enterprise design team in London. Our client builds full-stack AI applications for enterprise customers working on high-stakes decisions and complex workflows. This is a leadership role where you'll shape how professionals interact with AI systems in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic design direction for enterprise products serving customers making high-stakes decisions and expert contributors using the platform
• Build and lead a growing design team through hiring, development, and day-to-day leadership while establishing team culture and operating rhythms
• Drive design execution by partnering with Product and Engineering counterparts to ensure design involvement from problem scoping through delivery
• Elevate craft standards across the team, pushing designers to rethink workflows rather than simply digitizing them, while maintaining quality without sacrificing velocity
• Contribute to and champion the design system, ensuring consistent component use and contributing patterns that enable distributed teams to build coherently
• Establish research practices that keep design decisions grounded in enterprise customer needs and advocate for user-centered thinking with cross-functional partners
• Define interaction patterns for human-AI collaboration, shaping how enterprise users work alongside AI agents in human-in-the-loop systems

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years managing product design teams with demonstrated success building and leading designers
• Proven expertise simplifying data-dense, power-user workflows into elegant B2B solutions
• Customer-centric approach with a track record of grounding design decisions in real user needs and measurable business impact
• AI fluency in how AI is transforming design practice, tooling, and workflows
• Experience designing for agentic platforms and enthusiasm for shaping emerging interaction patterns in AI and human-in-the-loop systems
• Ability to balance speed and quality, prioritizing ruthlessly while maintaining high craft standards
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present effectively to both leadership and individual contributors
