Senior Manager Programmatic (Mensch)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media organization seeking a Senior Manager Programmatic to lead both strategic development and operational execution of programmatic advertising activities. In this role, you will serve as a key voice in establishing programmatic standards and guidelines across the organization.

• Strategic Development: Evaluate innovations and technologies alongside clients to optimize their programmatic media buying strategies
• Performance Optimization: Leverage strong analytical skills to continuously refine programmatic media buying, meeting and exceeding established goals and media KPIs
• Campaign Implementation: Execute precisely structured campaigns across multiple DSPs and associated technologies
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain productive relationships with internal specialist teams and external partners in a dynamic, international environment
• Client Advisory: Provide strategic counsel to clients on how programmatic buying advantages align with their overall marketing strategies

What We're Looking For

• Education & Experience: University degree with minimum 3 years proven expertise in operational management or strategic consulting for programmatic campaigns
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the digital media landscape, including DSPs, data management platforms, inventory sources, and verification technologies
• Continuous Learning: Strong ambition for ongoing professional development, with the drive to share knowledge with team members, clients, and stakeholders
• Data Proficiency: Exceptional ability to structure and analyze data in Excel and PowerPoint, translating complex concepts into clear, strategic recommendations
• Language Skills: Fluent written and verbal communication in both German and English
• Personal Qualities: Team-oriented, communicative, and solution-focused approach to challenges
