Senior Manager Media Strategy & Operations (Mensch) P&G

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consumer goods organization seeking a Senior Manager for Media Strategy & Operations to join their in-house team in Düsseldorf. In this strategic role, you will serve as the bridge between media planning, data analytics, and executive decision-making.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Strategic Advisory: Provide expert counsel to in-house planners, specialist departments, and senior management on all aspects of media planning and marketing strategy
• Cross-Channel Strategy Development: Connect traditional and digital media channels (from TV and outdoor to social media and search) and synthesize market trends and analyses into clear executive summaries
• Executive Presentations: Create professional presentations and communicate complex strategies and results clearly to leadership teams
• Data Translation: Act as the interpreter between data specialists and management, transforming technical analytics into actionable, understandable recommendations
• Process Optimization: Help in-house teams improve workflows and build new capabilities across the organization

This is not a tactical booking role—you will be the strategic thinker, translator, and enabler helping teams continuously improve their performance.

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Proven Experience: Several years in media planning or marketing consulting, whether at a media agency, management consultancy, or in-house corporate media planning
• Holistic Media Knowledge: Strong understanding of the full media mix (offline and online) and how channels work together to drive results
• Communication Excellence: Natural ability to explain complex concepts simply and present them in visually compelling formats using PowerPoint or Keynote
• Data Fluency: Solid grasp of numbers, KPIs, and dashboards, with the ability to translate data into genuine insights
• Flexibility and Initiative: Self-directed work style, adaptability to changing priorities, and skill at finding structured solutions even with ambiguous briefs
• Language Skills: Fluent German and strong English
• Nice to Have: Experience with change management processes or working in regulated industries
