About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential bicycle industry client in Mühlhausen, Germany, seeking a Technical Customer Service Specialist for bicycle drive systems. Our client is a leading European distribution partner for premium bicycle drivetrain components and e-bike systems, serving over 1,000 bicycle manufacturers, dealers, and brands worldwide with a team of approximately 40 employees.

This role offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise with passion for cycling in a dynamic, growing organization. You'll work directly with specialized bicycle retailers and manufacturers, providing expert support on drivetrain technology while enjoying a modern, casual work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical customer support via telephone to specialty bicycle dealers and manufacturers regarding bicycle drivetrain systems and components
• Support customer training sessions and represent the company at major cycling industry events and trade shows (such as Eurobike)
• Process warranty returns, inspect components, and make decisions regarding replacement deliveries, credits, or returns
• Opportunity to develop into field service roles based on interest and performance

What We're Looking For

• Technical education or degree in relevant fields such as mechatronics, bicycle mechanics, automotive mechanics, or mechanical engineering (career changers and those who did not complete their studies are welcome)
• Genuine passion for bicycles and cycling technology
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills
• Strong English language skills for international customer communication
• German language proficiency required for this role
