Senior EMC validation Engineer

Bosch Group seeks an experienced Senior EMC Validation Engineer to join our Engineering team in Bangalore, India. In this full-time role, you will drive electromagnetic compatibility validation and testing across our product portfolio, ensuring compliance with international standards whilst maintaining the highest quality benchmarks.

Role Overview

As a Senior EMC Validation Engineer at Bosch Group, you'll take ownership of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) validation projects from conception through certification. You'll develop test strategies, oversee laboratory assessments, and provide technical leadership to ensure our products meet stringent regulatory requirements and customer specifications. This hands-on position within our Engineering department directly impacts product safety, quality, and market readiness for Bosch Group's diverse technology portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute comprehensive EMC testing and validation protocols according to international standards
• Ensure products achieve compliance with CE marking, FCC, and industry-specific regulatory directives
• Conduct hands-on electromagnetic compatibility testing and measurements in laboratory environments
• Analyse test results, identify root causes of non-compliance, and recommend corrective design improvements
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, validation reports, and compliance evidence for certification bodies
• Collaborate with product design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve EMC-related challenges
• Mentor junior engineers and drive process improvements in validation methodologies

What You Bring

• Substantial hands-on experience in EMC validation, testing, and regulatory compliance
• Strong technical knowledge of EMC standards including EN, IEC, FCC, and related regulations
• Proven expertise with test instrumentation and electromagnetic measurement equipment
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in regulated engineering environments with compliance requirements
• Excellent cross-functional communication and project collaboration capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical discipline
