3 Embedded C++ Software Engineer(Software Update/OTA)

Bosch Group is hiring an Embedded C++ Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Hochiminh, Tan Binh, Vietnam. You'll develop robust software update and over-the-air (OTA) solutions for embedded systems in this full-time position.

Role Overview

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of embedded C++ software focused on software updates and OTA delivery mechanisms. Working within our engineering division, you'll develop systems that enable secure, reliable delivery of firmware and software updates to connected devices across various platforms. Your expertise in embedded systems will help ensure our products remain current, secure, and fully operational in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded C++ code for software update and OTA systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize update delivery mechanisms
• Troubleshoot and enhance embedded software performance across target platforms
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of software architecture
• Test and validate software update processes to ensure system stability and data integrity
• Support integration of OTA solutions into embedded platforms and devices

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C++ for embedded systems development
• Experience with embedded Linux, real-time operating systems, or comparable embedded platforms
• Solid understanding of software update mechanisms, firmware delivery, or OTA systems
• Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development practices
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and code quality
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
