Senior Cloud Engineer (gn)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential logistics organization in the Hamburg region seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for a permanent position. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic development and administration of cloud infrastructure while implementing a global cloud strategy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and administer enterprise-wide public cloud solutions across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models
• Develop and optimize cloud strategy in alignment with business requirements
• Design and evaluate operational concepts for IT systems in Azure environments, covering functionality, security, migration paths, and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with all security aspects, particularly for protecting corporate data in cloud environments
• Monitor performance parameters and availability of cloud services and conduct optimizations
• Advise IT colleagues on deployment scenarios and provide troubleshooting support
• Document cloud-based operational processes and prepare regular reports

What We're Looking For

• Completed university degree in computer science or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with cloud technologies including Azure, Entra ID, Intune, PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS
• Proven experience migrating from on-premises to cloud solutions and knowledge of enterprise technologies
• Demonstrable track record implementing projects in large organizational structures
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken
• Independent, solution-oriented work approach with resilience and flexibility

This is a hybrid role based in Hamburg with approximately 3 days of remote work per week. The position offers a reduced work week of 37.5 hours and 35 days of vacation.
