About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential mobility technology organization in München, Bayern, Germany, seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant (m/f/d) to lead their ERP Finance implementation. Our client is establishing a new SAP S/4HANA system for their expanding business operations, with initial focus on Finance and Procurement modules.

As the in-house SAP expert, you will work directly with Finance and Procurement stakeholders and external implementation partners to design, build, and deploy a scalable ERP solution. After go-live, you will own the continuous evolution and improvement of the SAP platform from within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-house SAP expert during new ERP implementation, focusing on Finance (FI/CO) and Procurement (MM) modules
• Translate business requirements from Finance, Procurement, and adjacent functions into clean, scalable SAP solutions
• Collaborate closely with external implementation partners throughout design, build, testing, and cutover phases
• Support data migration, test management, and go-live preparation from an ownership perspective
• Take long-term ownership of the SAP solution post-implementation, including enhancements, change requests, integrations, and process improvements
• Build broader SAP capability within the ERP Finance team through teaching and mentoring
• Act as trusted advisor to Finance and Procurement stakeholders on SAP capabilities and best practices

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience as an SAP Consultant, including 5+ years working with S/4HANA
• Strong expertise in Finance (FI/CO) and Procurement (MM) modules
• Working knowledge of SAP Supply Chain and Asset Management modules is a plus
• At least two complete end-to-end SAP implementations, ideally in organizations of similar size and complexity
• Solid understanding of core finance and procurement processes: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Controlling, Purchase-to-Pay
• Experience working with external system integrators and confidence to engage as an equal partner
• Ability to engage with senior Finance and Procurement stakeholders and translate between business and technical requirements
• Structured, pragmatic, delivery-oriented approach with strong communication and facilitation skills
• Based in Germany with fluency in both German and English
