Regional Account Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global travel management organization seeking a Regional Account Manager to oversee client relationships across the APAC region, working remotely from Hong Kong. This role sits at the intersection of account management, business development, and strategic partnership, requiring a seasoned professional who can manage complex regional portfolios while driving revenue growth and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of regional accounts, focusing on client retention, contract negotiation, and business consolidation across multiple APAC markets
• Coordinate regional communication between internal teams and clients to align on global initiatives and local execution
• Oversee new business implementations, partnering closely with implementation teams to ensure seamless onboarding and meet client expectations
• Measure, report, and optimize Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at the regional level
• Drive contract profitability through strategic upselling and cross-selling of products and services aligned with client needs
• Identify and recommend technology tools and process improvements to enhance service delivery
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across the region
• Conduct client business reviews and deliver regular financial reporting to stakeholders
• Develop and execute deliberate business plans to support regional growth objectives

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Prior account management experience in travel management or related business travel services
• Proven track record implementing and managing large market or regional client accounts
• Thorough knowledge of business travel account management and operations
• Strong familiarity with travel industry technology platforms and processes
• Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and grow customer portfolios and strategic client relationships
• Experience creating business plans and managing client strategies
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and cultural contexts within APAC
