Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential energy services organization in their search for a Projektentwickler (m/w/d) Energiecontracting based in Düsseldorf. Our client is an established player in Germany's energy sector, currently navigating an exciting growth phase as they actively shape the future of sustainable energy supply and decarbonization for commercial real estate clients.

In this role, you will take ownership of planning, evaluating, and implementing sustainable energy solutions. You'll work closely with internal teams, external partners, and property industry clients to develop innovative heating, power, cooling, and combined heat-and-power systems that drive Germany's energy transition forward.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer modern energy supply solutions covering heat, electricity, cooling, CHP, biomass, and wood-fired boiler systems
• Coordinate internal and external project stakeholders including planners, grid operators, regulatory authorities, and clients
• Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies to support decision-making and project prioritization
• Prepare commercial proposals, integrate relevant subsidy programs, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks
• Advise real estate clients on decarbonization strategies, climate roadmaps, and transformation of existing district heating networks

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in energy engineering, supply engineering, environmental technology, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in project development, planning, or implementation of energy supply projects, ideally in contracting or district-level contexts
• Strong technical and commercial understanding with proven experience evaluating project economics, energy efficiency, and subsidy eligibility
• Solid knowledge of German regulatory frameworks such as EnEfG, GEG, KWKG, and EEG and their practical application
• Proficiency with planning and project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, CRM systems) and enthusiasm for digitally supported workflows
• Analytical, solution-oriented thinking combined with entrepreneurial vision
• Strong communication skills, initiative, and a structured, team-oriented work style
• Passion for decarbonization, energy efficiency, and sustainable district development
