Instructor/Facilitator

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential professional services organization that delivers customized learning and leadership development solutions to government and commercial clients across the United States. We are seeking experienced Instructor/Facilitators to join their learning services team on a consultant basis.

In this role, you will design, tailor, and deliver leadership development training in both traditional classroom and virtual environments. You'll work as part of a collaborative teaching team, applying adult learning principles to create engaging experiences that prepare tomorrow's leaders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned leadership development courses in traditional and virtual formats
• Maintain and revise course materials to reflect current management best practices
• Complete course certifications according to established certification plans
• Engage learners through positive, facilitative techniques that support individual growth
• Apply adult learning theory principles throughout course delivery
• Facilitate group activities and process resulting behaviors in the classroom
• Manage student learning activities and provide coaching to improve participant skills
• Handle classroom administration tasks including setup, breakdown, and roster management
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance training methods and course development skills
• Travel as required to deliver instruction at various locations
• Give and receive feedback for personal, team, and organizational growth

What We're Looking For

• MA or MS in Business Administration, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, or comparably relevant field from a regionally accredited institution
• Three to five years of experience as a facilitator in formal traditional or virtual training environments
• Demonstrated expertise in facilitation of learning and transfer of job-related knowledge
• Highly experienced in motivating learners and engaging diverse learning techniques
• Five years of experience as a manager or supervisor
• Experience as a manager in federal agencies is highly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of current management best practices and training approaches
• Strong team collaboration skills
• Ability to travel as required
