Project Manger – Transmission & Distribution

Lead transmission and distribution projects for a full-service electrical contractor headquartered in Lewisville, Denton County. This full-time Project Manager role offers competitive compensation ($150,000–$180,000 annually) and the opportunity to oversee critical infrastructure initiatives from conception through completion.

About the Role

You'll manage complex construction and installation projects within the electrical transmission and distribution sector. This position is ideal for an experienced leader who thrives coordinating high-voltage substation construction, grid modernization, and related infrastructure work. You will take ownership of project delivery—controlling timelines, budgets, and quality—while fostering safety and regulatory compliance across all job sites.

What You'll Do

• Plan and execute project phases, from preconstruction through final closeout
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial performance
• Coordinate field teams, equipment deployment, and subcontractor scheduling
• Monitor progress against schedule and implement corrective actions as needed
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain full regulatory compliance on job sites
• Communicate project updates to clients, stakeholders, and internal leadership
• Review technical specifications, blueprints, and quality workmanship
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with team members and external partners

What We're Looking For

• Proven project management experience in construction, electrical contracting, or infrastructure development
• Knowledge of electrical systems, high-voltage operations, or transmission and distribution work
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
