Product Owner

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Product Owner to lead a strategic growth channel focused on professional services partnerships. This is a full-ownership role where you'll define and deliver a proposition that drives recommendations, retention, and portfolio depth through trusted intermediaries who advise established SMEs on financial decisions.

You'll own the complete product lifecycle—from strategy and roadmap through to commercial outcomes—working with a cross-functional squad to build experiences that feel trustworthy, work flawlessly across multi-client portfolios, and set new standards for partner-focused product development.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product strategy, vision, roadmap, and execution for a professional services partner proposition
• Lead a cross-functional squad including Engineering, Design, Data, and Operations to deliver high-quality customer-facing features
• Take full commercial accountability for OKRs including partner-driven acquisition, growth, retention, and product depth
• Define and implement access models and permissions frameworks for multi-client visibility and control
• Deliver partner-facing product experiences including portfolio monitoring, reconciliation workflows, and advisory tools
• Partner with Design, UX, and Research teams to conduct customer discovery, prototyping, and iterative validation
• Define metrics, track outcomes, and build a culture of evidence-based decision-making within your squad
• Identify and manage product, regulatory, and delivery risks proactively alongside Compliance and Risk teams
• Maintain clear roadmap communication with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in financial services, ideally building products for accountants, bookkeepers, or professional services audiences
• Deep understanding of how accounting professionals operate day-to-day, including practice workflows, client management, and familiarity with common accounting software platforms
• Track record taking products from early MVP to fully-fledged propositions within banking, fintech, or professional services software
• Strong commercial acumen with experience owning OKRs and making data-driven prioritization decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical, commercial, and regulatory audiences
• Decisive mindset with ability to move quickly while maintaining quality and managing risk appropriately
• Experience working in agile squads with Engineers, Designers, Data Analysts, and Operations teams
