Product Lead, Data & AI (Fully remote – UK, Spain, Portugal)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization seeking a deeply technical Product Lead to drive data and AI strategy for field service solutions. This is a fully remote role open to candidates in the UK, Spain, or Portugal.

In this hands-on position, you'll own the roadmap for how data is captured, structured, and activated to power AI-driven products. You'll work at the intersection of data architecture, AI strategy, and product execution—writing epics with engineering teams while challenging architectural decisions on data pipelines and LLM interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the data and AI product roadmap from planning through execution and iteration
• Translate data strategy into engineering-ready epics and stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Own the full lifecycle of data and AI initiatives, from intent recognition through delivery and measurement
• Define what data is needed and translate requirements for implementation teams
• Set up and define data products, including data warehouse and data lake requirements
• Drive analytics maturity by defining how usage and outcomes are captured and analyzed, including for LLM and agent interfaces
• Partner cross-functionally with platform, engineering, design, security, and legal teams to build scalable, compliant solutions
• Challenge and collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, data models, and technical trade-offs

What We're Looking For

Must-have qualifications:

• Strong B2B product experience
• Proficiency in Scrum and Jira, with hands-on experience writing epics and stories
• Technical fluency sufficient to credibly challenge engineering teams on architecture and data models
• Direct experience building or maintaining data products
• Professional proficiency in English

Strongly preferred:

• Experience building AI-driven products
• Understanding of analytics capture and analysis, including for LLM interfaces
• Direct experience working with AI platforms and building agents
• Experience setting up data warehouses and data lakes
• Scrum of Scrums experience
• Experience working within globally distributed product teams

This position may require frequent travel.
