Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential industrial instrumentation client seeking a Division Vice President of Strategic Marketing & Commercial Excellence. This is a virtual role based in the United States, reporting directly to divisional leadership. You'll lead global marketing strategy, digital transformation, and commercial excellence initiatives across multiple business units, driving organic growth through data-driven marketing and strategic pricing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute unified marketing strategy across all business units to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation
• Lead digital transformation initiatives including AI-driven marketing tools, eCommerce platforms, and marketing automation systems
• Collaborate with product management teams to define go-to-market strategies, value propositions, and competitive positioning
• Establish strategic pricing best practices and frameworks to drive profitable organic growth
• Oversee all digital marketing activities including SEO/SEM, social media, content management systems, and analytics platforms
• Lead platform migration projects and manage relationships with external vendors and agencies
• Drive Voice of the Customer programs to inform product development and market positioning
• Lead marketing due diligence and post-merger integration for acquisitions
• Build and manage high-performing marketing organization including shared services and centers of excellence
• Analyze KPIs and market trends to identify growth opportunities and ensure measurable ROI

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years in senior marketing leadership roles (Senior Marketing Director, VP of Marketing, or equivalent)
• Proven ability to understand complex technical products in manufacturing environments
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or technical field (STEM); MBA strongly preferred
• Experience leading shared services marketing teams is a plus
• Strong business and financial acumen with demonstrated budget management experience
• Deep expertise in digital marketing strategies, marketing automation, and eCommerce platforms
• Familiarity with manufacturing product management and marketing methodologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence across all organizational levels
• Strong analytical and project management capabilities
• Results-oriented mindset focused on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement
• Learning agility in emerging digital marketing technologies and AI-driven tools
• Ideally based in Chicago, IL area; willingness to travel to business locations as needed
