What You'll Do

• Assist the lead teacher with lesson preparation and classroom setup
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and transitions

• Support individual student needs, including behavioral guidance and basic academic activities
• Maintain a clean, orderly environment by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and learning materials
• Communicate observations and progress to teachers and families as needed
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in early childhood education preferred)
• Previous experience working with preschool‑age children in a classroom or childcare setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with children, staff, and parents
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for early learning
• Basic knowledge of child development principles of classroom safety and hygiene
• Ability to follow directions, work collaboratively, and adapt to changing priorities
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
