Position Summary

HRM Services is seeking an experienced Property Management Area Manager to oversee operations across multiple properties within an assigned district. You'll drive operational efficiency, tenant satisfaction, and financial performance while building and managing a skilled team of property professionals.

Core Duties

• Oversee daily operations and performance metrics for multiple assigned properties
• Hire, train, and supervise on-site property management staff
• Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and lease-related concerns with professionalism and resolution-focused approach
• Ensure compliance with property management policies, local housing regulations, and company standards
• Manage property maintenance schedules and coordinate facility repairs and improvements
• Review financial performance, monitor budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities to drive positive returns
• Conduct property inspections and prepare performance reports for senior leadership

Requirements

• 3+ years of property management experience, ideally managing multiple properties or portfolios
• Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
• Strong knowledge of property management regulations and local housing codes
• Solid financial acumen and experience with budgeting and P&L analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
