About the Role

As a Surgical Technologist in our CVOR specialty program, you'll provide essential perioperative support for cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures. Working day shifts in a part-time capacity, you'll be integral to surgical team operations, ensuring smooth, efficient procedures in one of healthcare's most specialized environments.

What You'll Do

• Set up and organize surgical instruments and equipment for cardiothoracic and vascular cases
• Maintain strict sterile field protocols and manage instrument availability throughout procedures
• Pass instruments and provide hands-on support to surgeons during CVOR operations
• Operate specialized vascular and cardiac surgical equipment safely and effectively
• Perform accurate surgical counts and assist with post-operative instrument processing
• Coordinate seamlessly with anesthesia, nursing, and surgical teams

What We're Looking For

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential or eligible for immediate certification
• Direct experience in cardiothoracic, vascular, or specialty operating room settings
• Proficiency with CVOR-specific instrumentation and surgical technology
• Ability to function effectively under surgical pressure in a specialized setting
• Strong commitment to sterile technique and procedural accuracy
• Team-oriented approach to perioperative care
