Part-time Speech Language Pathologist

Functional Pathways is hiring a Part-time Speech Language Pathologist to join the clinical team at Towne Park Senior Living in Brazil, Indiana, located in the Bee Ridge area of Clay County. This position offers the opportunity to deliver specialized speech and language services to our senior resident population in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

About the Role

As a Part-time Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to residents in our senior living community. You'll conduct clinical evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to address communication and swallowing disorders. This role involves working closely with nursing staff, occupational and physical therapists, and families to ensure coordinated, holistic resident care.

What You'll Do

• Perform initial and follow-up assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and resident goals
• Document clinical progress, treatment outcomes, and functional improvements per facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to integrate speech-language pathology recommendations into daily resident programming
• Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and swallowing precautions
• Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to resident quality-of-life initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Strong clinical skills in dysphagia management and adult neurological communication disorders
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
