Personal Trainer, Kensington

What This Role Involves

As a Personal Trainer at our Kensington location, you will work directly with members to assess their fitness levels, design customised training programmes, and provide expert guidance across our state-of-the-art facilities. Your role combines instruction, motivation, and progressive programming to help each client achieve measurable results. You'll be a key part of our fitness team, delivering the high-touch, premium experience that defines Equinox.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct initial fitness assessments and ongoing progress evaluations with new and existing members
• Create tailored workout programmes based on individual goals, fitness levels, and any physical limitations
• Deliver engaging, safe, and effective training sessions across a variety of training styles and equipment
• Provide nutritional and lifestyle guidance to complement training outcomes
• Monitor client progress, adjust programmes as needed, and celebrate achievements to maintain motivation
• Maintain comprehensive records of member goals, sessions, and progress
• Build strong client relationships to promote member retention and referrals
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and club policies at all times

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training (or equivalent internationally recognised qualification) or higher
• Current UK fitness industry qualification (REPs or CIMSPA accreditation) or equivalent
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Proven experience training diverse clients with varying fitness levels and goals
• Strong communication and motivational skills
• Knowledge of exercise physiology, programme design, and health and safety protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
