What This Role Involves
As an Oracle ERP Project Manager at Version 1, you will own complex enterprise resource planning system implementations, upgrades, and transformations. You'll manage budgets, schedules, stakeholder expectations, and multi-discipline teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. Your Oracle platform expertise will drive how we help UK enterprises modernise operations, streamline processes, and realise the full value of their ERP investments.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Oracle ERP projects from initiation through go-live and post-launch stabilisation
- Build and lead project teams comprising internal specialists, external partners, and client-side contributors
- Define project scope, establish realistic schedules, manage budgets, and track performance metrics
- Anticipate and manage risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to protect project delivery
- Maintain transparent communication with senior sponsors, clients, and internal leadership throughout all project phases
- Oversee system configuration, quality assurance testing, and cutover orchestration to ensure successful go-live
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and user enablement to ensure sustainable post-implementation operations
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience managing Oracle ERP implementations across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Human Capital Management modules
- Solid command of enterprise project management frameworks including Waterfall, Agile, or blended delivery approaches
- Proven track record managing complex schedules, budgets, and multiple competing stakeholder priorities
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership abilities—credible with both executive and technical audiences
- Practical understanding of ERP system architecture, configuration, design, and testing disciplines
- UK work authorisation and availability to support UK-based project teams across varying time zones
